Fundraising

Do you love a garden party, bake cakes to rival Mary Berry or fancy leaping out of a plane simply because someone sponsored you to? Then we’d love to hear from you. Money from fundraising is at the heart of what we do – it’s the difference between surviving and thriving, and any event provides yet another valuable opportunity for our participants to experience and enjoy social interaction and develop valuable life skills in the process. 

Volunteering

Volunteers are essential to our business, working alongside our amazing team, empowering our participants to grow in confidence, gain new skills and learn how to apply them in a safe and supportive environment. Creativity is not just fun, it’s essential for well-being. It gives people a voice, an opportunity to connect, to learn, to feel empowered.

We are passionate about caring for our members, seeing them learn and grow in confidence.

So, if you want to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, we would love to show you just what we do. We provide taster sessions to anyone interested in volunteering so you can see exactly where we are and what fun we have before you commit!

Trustees

If the thought of jumping out of planes or performing makes your nervous system go into overdrive, don’t worry. We have opportunities for you too. As a trustee, you would work with others to enable InteraKt to fulfil key objectives.  Trustee meetings take place every three months, with a continuous commitment from all members to promote events and raise awareness of the beneficial work we do in the community.

A trustee's position can have a huge impact on the lives of the people we support and, in addition, the whole community.
